Materials:
Body: nickel-plated brass, PA 66, seals: NBR, holding claws: stainless steel, cartridges: Zinc-plated ZnDC (only silicone-free seals and lubricants are used during assembly)
Temperature range:
-20 to +80 °C
Operating pressure:
3 to 8 bar
Reaction pressure:
0,8 - 1,0 bar
Switching time:
3 ms
Function:
The signal screw connections switch through a pneumatic signal from the signal input P (push in fitting) to the signal output S (push in fitting), as soon as the pressure on the threads falls below the reaction pressure. Such a pressure drop occurs, for example, on the venting side of a pneumatic cylinder when the piston reaches its end position. Therefore these screw connections are suitable for pure pneumatic scanning of end positions settings of pneumatic cylinders. To avoid false triggers, we recommend during the scanning of cylinders to remove the supply pressure for the signal input P from the supply line of the cylinder.
Warning:
Signal screw connections detect reaching the end position only through a pressure drop. However, this pressure drop can also occur if the cylinder is blocked in its movement path. If there is danger of such a blockage, we recommend using pneumatic cylinder switches, which react directly to the magnetic field of a magnetic piston.
Advantages:
•pure pneumatic control, no electrical energy required,
•simple installation,
•compact design
